Commenting on today's report by the Institute of Public Policy Research on climate change, Liberal Democrat Shadow Environment Secretary, Chris Huhne MP said:

"This report quite rightly highlights the limited time we have left to halt the damaging effects of climate change.

"Global warming is not just the most important issue the Government faces, it is also the most urgent."
