Case for judicial inquiry into torture claims now unanswerable – Huhne
Commenting on former MI5 head Baroness Manningham-Buller’s admission that she only learned that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was waterboarded after retiring in 2007, Liberal Democrat Shadow Home Secretary, Chris Huhne said:
“These revelations now make an unanswerable case for a judicial inquiry into the alleged involvement in and knowledge of mistreatment, torture and extraordinary rendition by the Security Services.”
