Thames Water customers watch their money go down the drain
Commenting on Thames Water’s announcement that it has missed its leakage reduction target for a third successive year, while simultaneously announcing a 31% rise in pre-tax profits, Liberal Democrat Shadow Environment Secretary, Chris Huhne MP said:
“Thames Water must spend more money on fixing leaks and less money on shareholder dividends. The regulator must get tougher with the water companies if customers are to expect value for money and a secure water supply.”
