Release Of Students The Final Embarrassment Of Operation Pathway – Huhne
Commenting on the release of two Pakistani students arrested as part of an alleged terror plot in April, Liberal Democrat Shadow Home Secretary, Chris Huhne said:
“This is surely the final embarrassment in the catastrophe that was Operation Pathway.
“The Home Secretary should come before Parliament again to explain his department’s bungling and why he thinks it is acceptable to detain people for months without charge.”
